New years greetings, Server issues and some thoughts

About the past, the present and future of this community

Hi everyone and a happy new year!


There had been a Database crash between yesterday and today, so I had to do a small rollback (status Dec 31st). The reason is currently unknown, but I am working on it, although I am currently busy.

Speaking of busy this is something what kept my away the last months (really). I had merely the time to work here nor follow the activities (I am sorry for this). The reason is simple: Corona. First some rescheduling had to be done which costed me a LOT of time (more than I expected first). Second of all I had to participate in some research thingies which interfered in my plans (but had a happy end) and finally, my family is also important.


Nevertheless, I am unsure whether I should keep up this page or not since the participation is kind of low. Currently, I am more or less paying the whole thing again out of my pockets - the donation some of you sent me last time had been used up about three or four months ago. So, I will observe the progress of this community and decide what to do next. Maybe move to a free host or something like this - I do not know yet.
